The album From the Backyard is certainly a milestone in Noel’s life thus far. It is the first step “out there”, with the selection of songs that summarize his life and its hard times in the most honest way. The ten tracks will offer a glimpse into the more or less good interactions between the conscious and subconscious. The album is about life with anxiety and depression, trauma, separation, longing, and the inner drive to go your own way and how it all ultimately comes together. An ode to the dark thickets and the light coming through.
